The 4 patch panels are prepared using a sewing machine. All of the 4 patch panels are quilted in the hoop and the turtle panels are quilted and appliqued in the hoop.
The cosmetic bag is then finished off with some sewing done on a sewing machine.
This cosmetic bag is fully lined and has no raw edges. Even the zipper tape is hidden. This Turtle Cosmetic Bag is a fast, easy and fun project to make.
The 4 patch panels use charm pack precuts and the turtle panels can be cut from layer cake pieces or a running quarter of fabric.
The approximate finished size of the cosmetic bag is 11.5″ wide x 10″ high and has a base 2.5″ wide.
A 21 page full photo pdf instruction will guide you from start to finish to cut, prepare, quilt and embroidery the panels and finishing the cosmetic bag.
