This is a great project to make. You can use bright fabrics or shaded ones. For this quilt, I combined Shwe Shwe fabric with quilters cotton. I just loved the brightness of the Shwe Shwe fabrics.
There are 4 different New York Beauty Blocks in this design. You can create various layouts and designs with these 4 blocks. The blocks are created using the embroidery techniques of “sew and flip” and applique. Each block is made and quilted in the hoop. The blocks are then put together, the backing and binding is all done with a sewing machine.
