The insertion panel / block is made up of two designs – Design A and Design B. You need to stitch out both of these designs to make up the insertion panel. For this quilt you will need 6 insertion panels. Therefore, you need to stitch out 6 x Design A and 6 x Design B pieces.
The panels are done using applique and have embroidered accents. The applique cover stitch used is the feather cover stitch. This gives a soft finish and is easy to quilt over. When cutting the applique fabric, use sharp scissors so you will have a neatly cut fabric edge.
Once all the insertion panels are embroidered out, the panels are then joined together with a sewing machine.

5×5 design: 21.32 inches x 44 inches
6×6 design: 24.78 inches x 52 inches
7×7 design: 28.24 inches x 60 inches

5×5 design: 25 inches x 26.34 inches
6×6 design: 30 inches x 31.5 inches
7×7 design: 35 inches x 36.75 inches
