This is a super easy table runner to make. The IHQ Tulip Table Runner embroidery design comes in 3 sizes: 5”x7”; 6”x10” and 7”x11”.
Use bright, colourful pieces of fabric to make the tulips. I used 3 smallish pieces of similar shades to make each tulip. Your choice! Each piece is individually placed for a creative effect. The tulip and the leaves are done in the applique method with a satin edging. The stem is embroidered. For the quilting sections, use matching thread to the fabrics or a thread that is a shade darker for a more noticeable effect.
The IHQ Tulip Table Runner has 2 designs that make up 1 tulip panel. Each design is made and quilted in the hoop. The tulip panel uses both the applique technique (for the tulip) as well as the Sew and Flip technique (for the lower green section).
You can make this table runner any length you want by adding additional tulip panels. Our instructions are for a 5 panel runner. You will need to adjust the borders, should you wish to make it bigger.

For the 7×11 design: 39” x 18”
