Shabby Chic Mug Rug 2
Shabby Chic is a great way to mix and match left over bits of fabric to create a great new quilted embroidery project. Add pieces of lace, rik-rak or ribbon for extra shabby chicness. This project is made using the Magic Technique – MT. There are NO Raw Edges and NO satin stitch edgings. The pieces are quilted and lined in the hoop and then sewn together using a small zig-zag stitch on your sewing machine. It is super easy and is great for the beginner embroiderer to the advanced embroiderer. This is a super quick project to create. If you have a large hoop, you can put several pieces into one hooping.
