Soft toys are loved by all children. They give hours of fun and even something soft to snuggle up to when they fall asleep. Gemma is an adorable soft toy giraffe. She is made in 5 hoopings. All that’s left is to close the openings with a little whip stitch and to sew the head and legs to the body. I used a little whip stitch to do this. The buttons I added on afterwards with thread to give that country charm. The tail is made from organza ribbon. Just thread 2 longish pieces trough the body where you want the tail and tie a knot to hold the ribbons in place. Gemma is so easy to make. The best part about making the pieces in the hoop is that you get accurate sewing all the way. Detailed instructions on how to make and put Gemma Giraffe together are included.
Gemma comes in 2 sizes. The first size is made for the 6”x10” hoop and the second size is for the 7”x12” hoop.

The 6”x10” design will give you a Gemma Giraffe that is approximately 14 inches tall.

The 7”x12” design will give you a Gemma Giraffe that is approximately 16 inches tall
