Ripple Quilt Blocks 1
Ripple designs are great to use for quilts or any large project. They have low stitch counts and stitch out really quickly. The embroidered blocks are done in 3 shades. I have added a basting stitch to each design and it is shown as “white” on the stitch charts. Use a wash away thread for the basting stitch. These blocks (all 12) were stitched out in just a few hours and then I created large quiltblocks from them by adding on fabric borders with my sewing machine. I sewed the lap quilt in an afternoon. I used the 7″x7″ blocks and made a lap quilt of 36″x 48″ in size but you can make any size quilt or lap quilt.
This design set is a multi sized set and has the 5″x5″, 6″x6″, 7″x7″ and 8″x8″ block designs.
